Hey Everyone,
I wanted to share a few tips with this group about posting a book on Amazon to help gain more recognition when readers are doing searches for books and you want your book noticed. Amazon allows you to use 7 search words when you first post your book, and sometimes that can be difficult to choose the “right” 7 search words. What I have learned that you CAN do is “stack” your search words (Amazon counts the number of commas as a single search word). So in the past, if you have used search words like: Mystery, Murder, Thriller, Suspense — Amazon would count that as 4 words because you have used three commas. What you actually can do is “stack” words to expand the universe on your search words. Example: Murder Mystery Thriller, Romance Suspense Supernatural, Ghost Haunted House Psychological — are actually considered 3 “search” words recognized by Amazon. Obviously you can add more, but remember to count the times you use the commas, as that will trigger a single “search” word.

This will definitely give your book the ability to be more readily discovered during a reader’s search for a certain new book.

Try it! 🙂 It works!
